Worlds Apart 25:300:00/25:30
Memnor are a northern UK based modern prog collective inspired by the the technical songwriting of Steven Wilson and Nobuo Uematsu, genre-redefining sound design of Mick Gordon and The Algorithm, and the narrative arcs of Coheed and Cambria and our prog rock forefathers.
FFO: HAKEN, FROST*, LEPROUS
Let's all be real here. This is music by nerds. You know it, we know it, and that's FINE.
Memnor started out as a collaboration between Rob Rideout (Guitars / Vocals) and Harry Boam (Guitars / Keyboards), who have worked on games including Baldur's Gate 3, Old School Runescape, and Sony's Horizon series. In 2023 Rob and Harry were joined by Josh Fielden (Bass) and Ben White (Drums) to take the band from a studio project to a full band and bring the music to a live audience.
Memnor lean into the roots that inspire them, incorporating musical influences from games such as Square Enix's "Final Fantasy" series, and Mick Gordon's legendary "DOOM" OST, with modern progressive rock and metal sounds, weaving narrative structures that tell a unique story alongside odd-time grooves, soaring vocals, and the occasional widdly riff (as a treat).
Our latest instalment of The New Seed Saga, IV: Awake, was be released on the 28th of November 2026 on Bandcamp, and then available to stream in all the usual places a month later, on the 28th of December.
